½ cup sugar

½ cup lemon juice

½ cup Maga cornstarch

3 cups water

2 egg whites

4 tablespoons sugar


  1. In a saucepan, place ½ cup sugar, ½ cup Maga cornstarch and 3 cups water.
  2. Place on low heat and stir constantly until it comes to a boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and add ½ cup of lemon juice. Stir well.
  4. Separately, whisk the egg whites until hard peaks and add 4 tablespoons of sugar.
  5. Mix this with the cornstarch; stir everything and refrigerate. Serve cold.
